Lead frames, which are utilised in semiconductor packing, is benefited from vacuum plasma treatment to enhance their surface characteristics. In this instance, the lead frame's surface is altered using vacuum plasma to enhance wire bonds' and mould compounds adhesion.
For Lead Frames a mixture of Argon and Oxygen can be used or just Argon for ionization. Theyare also called as “Spider” frames.
